So I guess you'll be going back to France then?

These men in the picture to the left compose the fastest relay team in the world. I would like to congratulate, from left to right, Garrett Weber-Gale, Jason Lezak, Michael Phelps and Cullen Jones for winning the gold medal in spectacular fashion in the men's 4x100 freestyle relay. What could make that victory sweeter? They beat the french. Which, under normal circumstances would not mean so much, I mean who hasn't beaten the french? It was the comment made by one of the members of the French relay team that turned an important race into an epic battle. French relay swimmer Alain Bernard said "we will crush the Americans, that's why we are here." Well, bon voyage Alain!

That was an incredible race and one I won't soon forget. Definitely worth staying up to midnight on a "school night". In addition, those young men were first class all the way--- they had opportunity to talk smack and did not.
