I was deeply disappointed to hear that Ambassador John Bolton will be stepping down when his temporary appointment expires.
President Bush said in a statement today "They (democrats) chose to obstruct his confirmation, even though he enjoys majority support in the Senate, and even though their tactics will disrupt our diplomatic work at a sensitive and important time. This stubborn obstructionism ill serves our country, and discourages men and women of talent from serving their nation." Get ready for more of this now that the pinkos are in charge.
I would like to personally thank ambassador Bolton for his service. He had to hang out with some of the most vile anti-semitic people on the face of the earth and he bravely stood up to them. But, the Dems are in charge and they want someone that they feel is competent to handle international affairs. In other words a person that will fit in with the liberal politics and anti-Israel attitude that permeates the UN. Someone like say..... Jimmy Carter...... shudder.
